Julia Diaz-Young is the creator of Chick Lit Is The Sh*t, a bookish platform she launched in August 2021 to share her love for romance novels. A DC native from a proud Cuban-American family, she graduated from Emerson College in 2023 and now lives in New York City. Julia works at Penguin Random House, specializing in Lifestyle and Wellness nonfiction. She also runs #clitsbookclub, a digital romance book club that has hosted New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors like Tessa Bailey and Elena Armas. By day, she’s a nonfiction title marketer; by night (and always), a devoted romance reader.
